What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in: Self check-in begins at 4:00pm. Early check-in must be approved by Susan
Check-out: Self check-out by 11:00am.  Late check-outs must be approved by Susan

Both are contactless and details are provided in the reservation email.

All guests must be registered.

All early check ins or late checkouts must be pre-approved by Susan.

What amenities do you offer?

  • Continental breakfast provided in the communal kitchen
  • Free Wi-Fi throughout the property
  • Complimentary parking for guests
  • Bike storage shed access, we recommend you bring your own lock
  • Air conditioning/heating and TV in each room
  • In the Box Car, Lewis and Clark Suites there are dinnettes with coffe makers, etc. 
  • Shampoo, conditioner, body wash included in all bathrooms
  • Books, games and magazines in guest rooms 
  • A variety of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the fresh air
  • Propane BBQ grills with tools available for use 
  • Firepit with firewood and starter provided

Do I need to make a reservation in advance?

We highly recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons or special events in the area. Our small size means we have limited rooms, and they fill up quickly. You can reserve a room online through our website or give us a call to make a booking. You can book online on our site or by phone anytime. 573-698-2453

Can I bring my pet?

We love animals, but, no. We do not  allow pets in our rooms.


Where should we get dinner?

Check rocheport-mo.com for all Rocheport’s dining  and merchant options.

Meriwether Cafe and Rocheport Winery are right down the street.

A- Frame is a one mile walk on the trail and .3 miles up the Blufftop Trail or you may reach it on Highway BB

Are there any activities or attractions nearby?

Yes! Rocheport is full of charm and history, and there’s plenty to do just steps away from our front door.

Rocheport Children’s Park — less than a block away is a new, safe and interactive park for young kids.

Bicycle rental — We are a few minutes walk from Meriwether. the cafe and bike shop.

Les Bourgeois Vineyards A-Frame  Experience the beauty and flavors of the Midwest. The Mid-Missouri winery offers a scenic tiered patio with cafe-style eats, drinks & gift shop.

Scenic Walking Trails — Options for a leisurely stroll or an adventurous hike.

Shops & Local Boutiques — Unique stores offering local crafts, antiques, and gifts.

Diana Bend Conservation Area — Ideal for outdoor activities like hiking, picnics, cycling, fishing, hunting or birdwatching.

Do you have bicycle storage?

Yes, we have a bike shed with bike racks inside, doors that close and is covered.  We recommend you bring your own lock. No bikes inside rooms. We have outlets in the bike shed for your assist bikes to be charged as well. 

Do you offer special event or group accommodations?

Yes, we offer special accommodations for small gatherings, weddings, and events. The historic charm of our bed and breakfast provides a cozy and intimate setting for family reunions, bridal parties, Mizzou parent weekends or other group get-togethers. Please contact us directly for more information on hosting events.

Is your bed and breakfast accessible?

Our historic building, while charming, does have some limitations when it comes to accessibility. 
We have stairs leading to the upper floors, so we recommend contacting us prior to booking if accessibility is a concern. We do our best to accommodate all guests and can offer a ground-floor room when available.


Is there parking available?

Yes, we offer complimentary on-site parking for our guests. The lot is available on a first-come, first-served basis, but there is plenty of street parking nearby as well.

Can I purchase a gift certificate for the bed and breakfast?

Of course! Gift certificates are a wonderful way to share the experience of the Katy Trail B&B with loved ones. They can be used for room bookings, and even toward our breakfast offerings. You can purchase a gift certificate directly on our website (katytrailbb.com/gift) or by calling us.

What’s the cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change, and our cancellation policy is as follows.

If you give 14+ days notice of a cancellation, we will refund your charges minus a $15 cancellation fee.

If you are unable to give a minimum of 14 days notice there is no refund.
